BAGNODESIGN, the home of creative bathroom solutions, hosted its second annual International Partner Summit in Dubai recently, with delegates from more than 15 countries heading to the UAE to attend. The Summit, held from Sunday 19 to Wednesday 22 April, came on the back of a record performance for the UK arm of the business, which recorded its highest turnover since launching in 2012. This year’s International Partner Summit began with a celebration to mark the 20th Anniversary of the Sanipex Group, BAGNODESIGN’s parent company. Held on the lawns of the Sheraton Dubai Marina, the party was attended by more than 250 employees, customers and suppliers, many of whom have worked with the company since the very beginning. The Summit gave the leading bathroom manufacturer the opportunity to engage with its franchisees, new showroom partners, international distributors and project partners, who were accompanied by the company’s international sales team throughout the four days.
BAGNODESIGN Partners were given an insight into the focus of the company going forward, with presentations detailing the introduction of new technology to its portfolio including ceramic branding and steam showers, plus a first look at new ranges due to be launched later this year. Group Managing Director Daryl Barker also chaired a thought-provoking Product Development seminar, with delegates providing valuable feedback on proposed new brassware ranges, finishes and materials. With each day’s work and networking over, the delegates were treated to a diverse range of evening entertainment, ranging from an Arabic dinner overlooking the marina to a catamaran cruise complete with music and dancing. “Feedback from delegates at our second International Partner Summit was very positive,” commented MD Daryl Barker. “It is very useful for our Partners to be able to share experiences and knowledge of running profitable businesses in different countries and to share ideas on how best to build and strengthen the BAGNODESIGN brand across the globe.”
